This Cookie Policy explains how Vuzza uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on vuzza.eu and the Vuzza platform. It works alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers all personal data we handle.
1. Our Public Website (vuzza.eu)
Our public website does not set cookies or store information on your device. We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, to count visits and see which pages are popular. It works without cookies, doesn't track you across sites, and only gives us aggregated statistics.
If we ever add analytics or marketing cookies to the public website, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent before placing them.
2. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember you, keep you logged in, and understand how people use a site. Similar technologies — like local storage and pixel tags — work in comparable ways.
We'll use "cookies" as shorthand for all of these throughout this policy.
3. Cookies in the Vuzza App
When you sign in to the Vuzza platform, we use the following. Strictly necessary cookies are always on; functional and analytics cookies are only used with your consent.
Strictly Necessary
These cookies are essential for the platform to function. They keep you logged in, maintain your session, and ensure security features work correctly. You can't opt out of these — without them, the platform won't work.

Analytics
We use analytics cookies to understand how people use Vuzza — which features are used most, where users get stuck, and how to improve the product. Data is aggregated and anonymised where possible.

We use PostHog hosted on EU infrastructure so your data doesn't leave the EEA for analytics purposes.
Marketing and Third-Party
Currently, we use no third-party advertising or retargeting cookies on vuzza.eu. We don't run ad campaigns that require tracking pixels.
If this changes, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent before placing any such cookies.
4. Your Choices
Consent in the Vuzza app. Functional and analytics cookies are only used with your consent. Strictly necessary cookies don't require consent.
Browser settings. You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you:
- View and delete cookies already set.
- Block cookies from specific sites.
- Block all third-party cookies.
Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will break the platform. Here are links to cookie management guides for common browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
Opt-out tools. For analytics specifically, you can opt out of PostHog tracking by contacting us at privacy@vuzza.eu.
5. Do We Use "Do Not Track"?
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There's no consistent industry standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals, so Vuzza doesn't currently alter its behaviour based on DNT. We rely on your consent choices in the Vuzza platform instead.
6. Changes to This Policy
We'll update this policy if we add or change cookies. The "last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated via the same channels as our Privacy Policy.
