Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 2025
Vuzza Ltd. Effective date: 1 July 2025 Last updated: 1 July 2025
This Cookie Policy explains how Vuzza uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on vuzza.eu and the Vuzza platform. It works alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers all personal data we handle.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember you, keep you logged in, and understand how people use a site. Similar technologies — like local storage and pixel tags — work in comparable ways.
We'll use "cookies" as shorthand for all of these throughout this policy.
2. What Cookies We Use
We use four categories of cookies:
Strictly Necessary
These cookies are essential for the platform to function. They keep you logged in, maintain your session, and ensure security features work correctly. You can't opt out of these — without them, the platform won't work.
| Cookie / Technology | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
vuzza_session | Maintains your authenticated session | Session (deleted on logout) |
vuzza_csrf | Protects against cross-site request forgery | Session |
vuzza_auth_state | Tracks authentication flow state | 15 minutes |
Functional
These cookies remember your preferences to give you a better experience — things like your language settings, dashboard layout, and notification preferences.
| Cookie / Technology | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
vuzza_prefs | Stores your UI preferences | 1 year |
vuzza_lang | Remembers your language selection | 1 year |
Analytics
We use analytics cookies to understand how people use Vuzza — which features are used most, where users get stuck, and how to improve the product. Data is aggregated and anonymised where possible.
| Technology | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Analytics SDK | PostHog (EU-hosted) | Product analytics, session recording (no PII in recordings) | 1 year |
We use PostHog hosted on EU infrastructure so your data doesn't leave the EEA for analytics purposes.
Marketing and Third-Party
Currently, we use no third-party advertising or retargeting cookies on vuzza.eu. We don't run ad campaigns that require tracking pixels.
If this changes, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent before placing any such cookies.
3. Your Choices
Cookie banner. When you first visit vuzza.eu, we'll ask for your consent for functional and analytics cookies. Strictly necessary cookies don't require consent.
Changing your preferences. You can update your cookie preferences at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer of vuzza.eu.
Browser settings. You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you:
- View and delete cookies already set.
- Block cookies from specific sites.
- Block all third-party cookies.
Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will break the platform. Here are links to cookie management guides for common browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
Opt-out tools. For analytics specifically, you can opt out of PostHog tracking by adjusting your cookie preferences in our banner or contacting us.
4. Do We Use "Do Not Track"?
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There's no consistent industry standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals, so Vuzza doesn't currently alter its behaviour based on DNT. We rely on our cookie banner and your in-platform preferences instead.
5. Changes to This Policy
We'll update this policy if we add or change cookies. The "last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated via the same channels as our Privacy Policy.
